Unique among public research institutions, Old Dominion University offers a renewable (up to four years) undergraduate merit scholarship. Awards are up to $16,000 USD annually to qualified applicants.
Eligibility and Terms
- Apply by April 15(Fall) or October 1(Spring)
- Cumulative, U.S. equivalent 3.25 grade point average(GPA)
- Newly admitted
- Pursue an initial Bachelor's Degree
- Valid non- immigrant visa status
- Ineligible for Virginia in- state tuition rates
- ISS covers only degree seeking courses
Supplemental Materials
- One page essay indicating academic intent and personal goals
- TOEFL & SAT are optional, though highly recommended
Renewal
- Renewable for up to four years
- Full- time enrollment( at least 12 credit hours for both Fall and Spring terms)
- Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.25
